Well belated happy new year to everyone!
I actually wasn't awake to count down the time. *signs of getting old?* I guess the cynic in me decided that it's really no different than the day before or the day after, just one little change in the number when I write the date.
Christmas was nice, but I have decided I will start shopping for myself and giving it to James to wrap. A ZIPPER UP ROBE?!?!?! How flippin' old do you think I am?! The kids are now for the most part out of toys. They are into electronics, movies, and cd's. There's a part of me that's happy, cause the toys just ended up cluttering up the room, were loud and required batteries, and yet I was sad to not be in those isles at the stores. It's another sign they're getting older. No more "easy" instructions for assembly, trips all over town to find the open mini mart for batteries, or spending an hour to get the stupid thing out of the damn box because it's tied, wired, and taped to the damn box. I guess i'll miss most playing with them with those toys. I'll go cry about it later.
It's a crappy, rainy day and I still have to go out in it. Yuck! I hate having to buy birthday presents soo soon after Christmas. Everythings picked over and a mess. And for those of you intelligent and better-prepared people; I know I could buy them while i'm Christmas shopping..........but I don't.
I need new icons.
